This book really took me by surprise. Rarely, have I read a book that at times, I did not like any of the characters. However, this is one of the best books I have read in the past four months.
Shayna’s life is full of turmoil. She has a manipulating mother, crack addicted sister, and a cheating husband on her hand. Yes, the sister is stretched to the max. However, she uses her faith to press through the mess. She feels that she can endure anything. However, life continues to through her curveballs. Her husband views her pregnancy as a noose that needs to be cut. In the midst of the more drama, her husband actions cause him to encounter a deadly course.
Put on a seat belt. This book will take you on a rollercoaster ride.
