I really enjoyed this book. I can’t even describe the emotional roller-coaster ride you’re taken on during this story. Cass’s character has had such a hard life, and still wants to take care of the ones she loves (even if they don’t deserve it). This girl has a heart of gold. You will be rooting for her to get her happy ending.
This book dealt with real issues such as drug use, physical abuse by a loved one, and the stress of coping with it all. Tucker was my hero in this story. He saw something in Cass and believed in her, even if she didn’t believe in herself. Heartwarming read and a page-turner for sure.
