Review: Fools’ Gold – Philippa Gregory

REVIEW

This story was about five travelers who have been sent by their benefactor to go Venice to see who is manufacturing fake gold.  The travelers are a priest, a manservant, a young lady whose brother has stolen her inheritance, her companion, and a young man who is on a mission to see when the world will end.   When they arrive at Venice they find a city that is in Carnival and all type of debauchery is happening.  They go through all  sorts of trials in attempt to find the fake gold.  What other sinister things wait for them on their next adventure?
Author Philippa Gregory has written a book that gives vivid description of the city.  I really enjoyed this book and would enjoy reading more from this author.
