Review

No Sweatpants Diet was a very eye opening read in my opinion, it gives you a first-hand look at one woman’s emotional journey through the do’s and don’t’s of the dieting world.

The amazing thing about this story was that it didn’t come across as a normal self-help book, the chapter’s unfolded much like diary or journal entries.

Pam seemed very genuine, she puts all her baggage out there for everyone to see and gives an honest portrayal of her life and how her experiences shaped who she is today! I could identify with many of the same struggles and the lengths we go to to achieve a weight loss goal.

Pam emphasizes the importance of loving who you are inside and out and the idea that you need to find the solution that works for you. Many of these fad diets today can be over the top and harmful to one’s health in the long run. This book had a lot of very useful tips and tools that would benefit anyone looking to learn some new healthy habits. Also, recipes were included throughout the story, and they seemed very simple to follow.

All in all, this was a book that gave me a new outlook on dieting. I give this book five stars and look forward to reading more books by this author!!
