According to my dictionary, the word bliss means happiness & great joy. Bliss Fenton is the opposite of anything representing happiness or joy. She is all about greed, and she uses her womb to keep her pockets full. She sets her sights on wealthy men – get pregnant and collect a healthy amount of child support. So far she has been on easy street until she tries her luck with Music Mogul, Fletcher McClain. Fletcher McClain proves to be a hard nut to crack (no pun intended). He’s not willing to give her what she wants without a fight. Has Bliss Fenton finally met her match?
The book centers around Bliss Fenton but all of characters in the book are complex and well-developed. One of my favorites in the book was Special (yes that’s her name) who’s working on her detective license and looking for love from one singles website to the next. She meets a guy that could be the one, but he is keeping a secret from her. Will she be able to get over his secret?
Lawful Deception is the type of book that’s impossible to put down. Readers will savor every page of this novel. Pamela Sue Young has delivered one of the best books of 2015.
