Review

The second offering in the FORTIS series from Raven Scott is all that and a bag of chips. This is another page turner in the series.

Lucas Johnson who owns and manages FORTIS a full solution security and asset protection firm, with his two best friends Evan DaCosta and Sam Mackenzie, is in the Toronto Islands located in Lake Ontario. Marco Passante, owner of Magnus Motorsports hired the firm because he is worried someone is trying to steal some new revolutionary technology that would be coveted by some folks in the auto industry so they can destroy it.

Alexandria Cotts the lead designer for Magnus Motorsports has developed a project that would revolutionize the auto industry and make or break her career. Only her boss Marco, one outside consultant and a small group of investors know the details of the project.

Because someone has tried to hack into their computer system, Lucas is onsite to protect the designs and intellectual property. Now, might that also include Alexandria?

This was not only a page turner but Raven Scott did her homework in terms of the detail of the auto industry. The storyline is outstanding. I will say that the book I had was an advance reading copy (ARC) and there were editing issues that hopefully were corrected before the book reached you. In spite of that, don’t let small errors stop you from reading this book because I highly recommend and look forward to the third installment. This is a series I hope will not end at the number three.
