This book is filled with action from page one, and I felt like I was watching a movie with every word. Ms Swinson does an excellent job of pulling in the reader from chapter one to the end. Lauren, her man Matthew and Yancy have a credit card and also a check cashing scheme that pays them very well and they live like it does, living in a Condo and the expensive shopping sprees, spending as much as fifteen grand in a few hours. When Yancy finds a wallet that holds the details to a possible three million dollar payday, a plan goes into place with Lauren as the lead.
Matthew Connors loves Lauren Kelly, but he also cannot stop messing with other women. The fact that he is messing around with Yancy, who they bring into the circle when they find her when she is having a problem in the streets with some guy, leaves Lauren wanting to show them both she is not the one to mess with.
What happens next is the action that was so intense this book should be in the que to be the next feature film to be produced by one of the biggest names in the business.
This was a fun read, page turner, filled with everything you want in a book. Action, drama, love, betrayal, and more.
This author knows how to write a book that while Urban based, it is well written, and I know I will be reading more works by this author. While this book can be a stand alone in content, Ms Swinson set the stage for a sequel, and I know I will be on the lookout for it, and I hope she doesn’t take too long writing it. Buy this book, you won’t be disappointed.
