Lists to Love By for Busy Husbands is must read for newlyweds & seasoned couples. I tend to giggle to myself when people add #relationshipgoals under the comment section when I post a picture of my husband & I on Social Media. No married couple wakes up in the morning and floats over to their spouse on a magical cloud to say Good Morning. I don’t care what anyone says but Marriage is work. Some couples have to work harder than others, but it’s still work. There are times when couples get complacent in the marriage, and that’s when books like List to Love comes in handy.
The founders of the national non-profit Family First, Mark and Susan Merrill, gives readers step-by-step advice based on their research and experience. Before you open your mouth to say – “I don’t take advice when it comes to my marriage.” Think again!
I was surprised that my husband was receptive when it came to reading this book. I was prepared to read it myself and then do some exercises with him. He read this book first and then I read it after him. We also have a copy of Lists to Love By for Busy Wives. I read that too.
Even though we believed we knew each other like the back of our hands – we were able to learn more things about each other.
There are 30 lists to love by which includes: 7 Truths of Marriage, 3 Things to Remember About Marriage, 5 Ways to Woo Your Wife in the Bedroom and much more. Taking the Next Step is the discussion section where you and your spouse and take turns answering a question. This was a fascinating exercise to do together. You can read this book in one sitting, but I would suggest taking your time with this read. Either way, you will benefit from reading this book.
I highly recommend this book!
