Whenever I get a new deck, I like to sit with it for at least 24 hours before opening it. After opening the deck, I clear the deck with sage. Jasmine Becket-Griffith’s artwork is breathtaking!
The deck is inspired by Alice in Wonderland but with a spin. Before giving myself a reading, I went through each card and read the meaning. This deck does come with a 132-page guidebook – which comes in handy when you want to have an in-depth meaning for each card. There’s a brief description of the illustration of each card.
I always recommend that you work with a deck for a week or two straight – so you can resonate with the cards. If the card still doesn’t resonate with you – I suggest you return the deck or gift it.
Thank goodness this wasn’t the case for this deck. My first reading left me speechless because everything I was feeling or going through was revealed in the cards. Lucy Cavendish has impressed me with deck.
