Mr. Rogers is beloved by most people who enjoyed his show, and this book of poetry is a collection of the songs he sang on the show. It contains over 70 songs that you may have heard on the show over the years.

A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood. The songs/poetry are lovely, and if you watched the show, you will see many of your favorites.

I like it because the songs deal with emotions, compassion, tolerance and more! The World today could use a bit of Mr. Rogers in their lives.

I recommend this as a book to read with children of pre-school age and above.

About Fred Rogers

Fred Rogers was many things—a minister, a musician, a puppeteer, and a friend to generations of children. He was everyone’s very good neighbor. For over 30 years he created and hosted the groundbreaking educational television series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. He received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame, among other distinguished honors.
