Five years after a rocky divorce, Donna Madison is out on her first date. But when she is stood up by her date, she’s not too upset because a surprise “replacement” date saves the night. The man who shows up at her table is a childhood friend she hadn’t seen in 15 years. Maxwell Anderson is no ordinary blast from the past, and Donna can't help but wonder if the unexpected meeting has divine purposes.

It’s been five years since Donna Madison divorced her husband of ten years. It wasn’t an amicable split, so the furthest thing on her mind is dating. But according to Donna’s friend, she needs to get out and to start living life again – so she sets up her on a blind date.

Donna’s blind date never shows up, but as fate would have it – Donna is reunited with someone from her past. Will this “replacement date” be able to find a place in Donna’s heart?

While scrolling Audible looking for something to relieve my annoyance at work – I found The Replacement Date by Tyora Moody. The audiobook is less than an hour – so I knew it was just what I needed.

As usual, I didn’t read the synopsis, so I had no idea where this story was going to lead me. After a few minutes of listening to this audiobook, this story not only captured my attention – it touched my heart.  I found myself relating to certain things that the character had endured.

The Replacement Date by Tyora is a heartwarming story that shows readers that there is a possibility for a second chance at love. Even though life doesn’t go the way we plan it – God’s plan is always the right plan!

The ending was perfect but the author’s writing style made me crave for more of Donna Madison & Maxwell Anderson’s story. Does that make sense?? Perfect ending, but wanting more??

Even though I want more of Donna & Maxwell’s story – I was happy with the ending. On the flipside, I know if the author continues with the story there is going to be some sort of conflict among the characters. I love Donna & Maxwell too much to endure that kind of pain.  (Back to the review… my thoughts have drifted away.)

The above paragraph is proof that the author has done an exceptional job with this story. Whatever Author Tyora Moody decides to do with Donna & Maxwell’s story – I’m ready and willing to support it 100%.

Highly Recommended!!
