I want to start by saying that I enjoy reading books written by Shelly Ellis. With that said, in this the third and final installment of the Branch Avenue series, I was not disappointed.

Derrick, Ricky, and Jamal, who met as boys at the Branch Avenue Institute, now run by Derrick, have a lot of “stuff” going on in their lives. I had to keep up with them to see how they dealt with relationship issues and circumstances that tested the friendships.

All three books have been page-turners and well written. There is plenty of drama, intrigue, several romances, and more.

Fans of Urban fiction or the person who wants a good read, will not be disappointed in this book or the series. I recommend it. I also look forward to the next book by Ms. Ellis as I am a fan!
