morePorsha Williams, entrepreneur and one of today’s most recognizable media personalities, opens up about family, faith, fame, and becoming an agent for change.

The Pursuit of Porsha invites readers into the life of Reality Star, Porsha Williams. I was first “introduced” to Porsha when she became a cast member of RHOA. I told my husband that I felt Porsha was holding back and not showing her true self. Let me add; I know that reality television doesn’t show every part of someone’s life, but you can feel when someone is not being their authentic self. Flash Forward to Porsha’s divorce – the viewers were able to get a glimpse of the saucy, carefree, and funny Portia. When I first learned of Porsha writing a book – I was eager to read it. The public has watched Porsha blossom from a timid housewife into an entrepreneur holding her own.
Porsha Williams details the pitfalls and mistakes she has made in the past, but some of them mirror her recent public experiences. So the readers are left to wonder if there is a lesson to take away from certain experiences. I will skip over the R. Kelly part of the book on purpose. Porsha has been mute about R. Kelly for years – so one is left to question was this added to the book to push sales.
Overall, The Pursuit of Porsha is an okay read. I’m still a fan of Porsha Williams because she makes very entertaining television.
